Bank Forward

Industry: Financial

Description: The Bank Forward, Insure Forward, Invest Forward and Tax Forward locations are in 12 cities. They wanted the 200+ staffers to wear branded apparel, but it needed to be easy and effective.  So we created an online company store where employees choose from work and weekend wear with approved logo options.  They achieved a uniform, professional look throughout North Dakota and Minnesota, and the program has great participation.  Employees can also use rewards "bucks" on the website.

Corporate contributes 50% towards these purchases, so we work with accounting and provide payroll deduction information.  "They always strive to be our partner, not just our vendor," said Sarah Newgard, Director of Marketing.

North Dakota Eye Clinic

Industry: Healthcare

Description: An important trade show with key potential patients and other audiences was approaching, and the North Dakota Eye Clinic wanted a particularly noticeable booth-and clever ways to attract the right type of visitors to it. We helped create pre-show direct mail pieces, items to distribute from the booth during the show and branded apparel for team members staffing the booth. We also produce the eye-catching booth display itself. This comprehensive approach helped the North Dakota Eye Clinic increase its visibility to a captive audience.

UND CoBPA

Industry: Higher education/Non-Profit

Description: The UND College of Business & Public Administration Alumni Relations department wants unique-yet mail-able-items to express appreciation to alumni, especially donors, and build ongoing positive relationships with alumni throughout the world. They also seek items to recognize alumni who come back to UND for a visit or speaking engagement. They say: "We get wonderful thank-you and complimentary comments from alumni and new donors. We rely on Trojan Promotions for products that haven't been replicated by other departments or development offices."

Larson Painting & Drywall

Industry: Manufacturing

Description: A small painting business owner, Kyle Larson, knew he should be marketing to potential clients, but wasn't sure of the first step. We created a basic 8-point marketing plan to help him define his current and target customers, his unique selling proposition and identify marketing activities to best suit his goals.

We first developed a fresh logo, logo wear for all painters and drywallers and print ads for phone directories and other publications. Meanwhile, Kyle joined local trade groups, the Chamber of Commerce and service clubs. He says: "It's great to see my team wearing the company name on professional uniforms."

Case IH

Industry: Manufacturing

Description: In farming, "red" farmers are Case IH customers; Green, John Deere. Most alliances go back generations, and penetrating a farm of another color takes a far superior implement and savvy awareness materials-for dealers to even approach prospective customers staunchly in the "other" color camp.

Case IH's new 1260 Early Riser Planter included features not in competitive planters, or some other Case IH planters. We helped create a product launch kit, "Plant Something Red on a Green Farm," with materials promoting the new Case IH 1260 Planter. Components also included incentives for salespeople who urged dealers to hold plant management training sessions in fields for farmers. All to show even the greenest farmers a little red paint can help at planting time.

Industry: Restaurant

Description: This popular restaurant's fresh new logo quickly took on enviable appeal, so we created apparel and related items for servers and bartenders-as well as softball, darts, billiards and other sponsored teams, plus visiting patrons. A pro shop inside the restaurant allows team captains to choose designs and order teammates' sizes.

SUBWAY restaurants

Industry: Restaurant

Description: Subway restaurants in North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota often put a local twist on nationally supported campaigns and promotions. We find stickers, buttons, T-shirts and other items to support these customized efforts. Launching the FRESH FIT campaign, for instance, required eye-catching items for use inside SUBWAY restaurants locations and at related events to increase visitors, sales and online contest registrations.

Sales in the three-month local promotion increased by 2% and website visits quadrupled. SUBWAY restaurants' local owner group leader says: "We always strive to strengthen the SUBWAY brand in the Red River Valley and Trojan Promotions understands this key strategic goal."
